Managed to capture a few pics from the Big Mountain Trail Run on Saturday at Cheyenne Canon.
The defending men's U.S Mountain Running champion, Joe Gray, put in some quality miles while winning the half marathon.
Gray said he had spent several days running at high altitude, and felt the sting on a couple of steep pitches along the singletrack course.
He charged to the win in 1 hour, 27 minutes, 53 seconds.
Nicole Clement and fience Jonathan Marsh drove down from Lakewood and had a big day. Clement won the women's half in 1:52:53. Marsh was third in the men's half.
Racing in the Pikes Peak Region this spring has been good for them. Clement and Marsh each claimed wins at the XTERRA 24K at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in April.
