About

Tim Bergsten created this Ning Network.

Allen Beauchamp, director for the Freedom from Poverty bike ride and cycling/community advocate, toasts the Cycling for Change team, the hard work of the volunteers who made the event happen (until the rains came, then they all got soaking wet taking everything down in America the Beautiful Park) and a very, very special event Thursday eventing at the Marian House, thanks largely to singer/songwriter Shawn Mullins who agreed to play an impromptu set.

Shawn Mullin's amazing music was the highlight of my evening for sure, the mood that he created and the intimate nature of the songs. However, after the acoustic concert and most of the volunteers had left, I had the priveledge of toasting this AMAZING group that is Cycling For Change...and that truly was a special moment. Thank you to Shawn and for all the people that came together to make this possible!
