24 Hours of Colorado Springs race director Tim Scott has ordered the number plates for the Oct. 1-2 race at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs.

The race is also the USA Cycling 24 Hour National Championship. Some of the top riders in the country will attend, but the race is open to any rider or teams. Race director Tim Scott has created the "Challenge Series" for four-person teams. The Challenge Series includes the Military Challenge (all members serve in a branch of the US Military); the First Responder Challenge (all Police, Fire, Doctors, EMTs, etc); the Bike Shop Challenge (all team members work at a bike shop); and the Family Challenge (all four related).
