I have just been cleared after surgery to ride my road bike and wanted to sign up for a race, just for fun. Looking for something under 50 miles...and found two in the next two weeks. Are there any races, within a few hours away, in October that anyone knows of?

This isn't a race, but it looks like a lot of fun. Plus, Lance is supposed to ride in it and you can always challenge him. :)
