It was suggested that I reprint this from my reply to Allison Dunlaps' stolen bikes. On Friday Feb 4th between 12:30 and 1pm, lunch time I was at West side fitness getting a work out in before I went to CTS for the endurance club indoor series. I had my mtb GT Marathon 3.0 with a Psylo front fork and Pimplite front wheel w/ 20mm through axle and my road Raliegh R700, double and cable locked to the back of my truck. Now if any one knows this area, this is one very busy shopping center with all that is going on there. Came out from my workout and both bikes were gone. I was parked right in front of the gym. You can not tell me no one saw somebody cutting the locks and cable and moving bikes from one vehicle to another but police were not called and I am now going through home owners to replace them. So with the deductible and the increase of my insurance it will cost me about half of the total replacement values, around $4k. This is the 4th bike I have had stolen in this town and they don't show up anywhere.... Been watching e-bay and craigslist, nothing. I respect our police but the attitude is they are just bikes. Wish we could privately set up some stings and get these ()*&*()^&%(*&'holes. WATCH YOUR BIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!
