So sad...he was such a fantastic human being. Always kind, always willing to do anything for any of us....
This very incident was first brought to my attention during a local tv newscast and they felt it possible to let everyone know that was viewing, how to wear the helmet properly. I do believe that there is a correct way to "minimize" head trauma in the event of such. But I also feel overwhelmed by asking a much simpler question. And that is, Are there any regulations on bicycle helmets and its construction. I don't think so. I wear a helmet while snowbarding and it appears to be the same type of constructive material and it still jarred my brain when I wiped out....once.
