Event Description
The marathon is a double loop of the half marathon. Both races start and finish at the Day Use Trailhead. The marathon and half marathon are true to the XTERRA name…challenging and rewarding. The 5K is fun for the entire family!

I was there for three days at a pro mountain bike race in July. I'm extremely impressed with the trails system. Makes me want to go and run there now. Should be a great event.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park is a great park to have a trail race. There trails system at the park is easy to moderate in difficulty. Most of the course will be on the trails of : Sundance, Talon (North and South), Zook, Blackmer,Cougar's Shadow, Boulder Run and Medicine Wheel. A very cool challenge !
