Event Description

Get your New Year off on the right foot by running in the 37th Rescue Run 5K/10K, 10 a.m., Jan 1 in Palmer Park.

A fundraiser for El Paso County Search and Rescue, this is one of Colorado Springs' classic races, often held in single-digit temperatures. Of course, the weather has never kept Colorado Springs-area runners off the starting line. Race organizers famously boast that the race will run in "Rain, Snow, or 20 Below."
