The Penrose-St. Francis Health Services 5K (formerly the Girls on the Run 5K) will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Venetucci Farm. Join the run and support a great cause! The event raises money for the Girls on the Run of the Rockies nonprofit, which is an innovative health education and wellness program that uniquely combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk event with life-changing, self-esteem enhancing lessons that encourage healthy habits and an active lifestyle. This event is the culmination of the 10 week program for girls participating in Girls on the Run in the Pikes Peak region.
Registration: Mail-in and online registration options are available. Mail-in due by November 11st, online registration closes 11pm on November 13th. Race Day registration available if space is available, open at 8:30am. Registration is limited to 500 runners.

Cost:
Youth (0-14): $15, $20 on race day
Adult (15 and older): $25, $30 on race day
Cash only for race day registration.
Packet Pick-up: Packet pick-up is race day.
Opens at 8:30am.
Course: The course is a mix of gravel roads and trails.
Directions: I-25 to South Academy Blvd. (Exit 135). Go east for ½ mile. Exit Hwy 85 to Fountain. Right on Highway 85 for 0.9 miles. Venetucci Farm is on the Right.
Parking Instructions: Parking is located at St. Dominic Church, 5354 S. Hwy 85/87, adjacent to the south end of Venetucci Farm.
