Event Description

The Kokopelli Kids Trail Running Series is designed to introduce children pre-school through 8th grade to the sport of trail running in a fun, challenging and rewarding environment.

Kids will learn how to run on the trails, they will learn to pace themselves and they will learn that running can be fun and rewarding. Running is no longer a form of punishment!

Wednesday May 4th - 6:00 pm - Pre-Race Clinic and Registration at Boulder Running Company (Located at 3659 Austin Bluffs Parkway, #278-35350)

Friday May 6th 5:30 pm - Trail Running Race (Bear Creek Park - located just east of the public gardens)

Friday May 13th 5:30 pm - Trail Running Race (Bear Creek Park)

Friday May 20th 5:30 pm - Trail Running Race (Bear Creek Park)

Age Groups / Race Distances / Awards

Pre-school: .50 mile trail run - Boys/Girls 1st-3rd (*new distance)

Kindergarten: .50 mile trail run - Boys/Girls 1st-3rd (*new distance)

1st & 2nd Grade: .50 mile trail run - Boys/Girls 1st-3rd

3rd & 4th Grade: 1.25 mile trail run - Boys/Girls 1st-3rd

5th & 6th Grade: 1.65 mile trail run - Boys/Girls 1st-3rd

7th & 8th Grade: 1.65 mile trail run - Boys/Girls 1st-3rd
