Event Description

As I sit here, I'm thinking of all the firefighters and people displaced by the Waldo Canyon Fire. They need our help and will for a while. So I will be collecting donations at Cafe Velo this Friday evening.

Non-perishable food donations will go to Care and Share Food Bank (checkhttp://careandshare.org/ for most needed items)
Monetary donations will go to the Pikes Peak Community Foundation's Waldo Canyon Fire Fighter's fund. (http://www.ppcf.org/products/waldo-canyon-fire-fund)

These fires really do suck. But it's still nice to get out for a ride sometimes. We'll still ride weather & air quality permitting. If we smell smoke we'll stay inside and enjoy each other's company. Because I think we all need some good company these days.

Our community is AWESOME, so let's keep helping it out.
