Join Pikes Peak-area cyclists on July 8 for the Freedom from Poverty One Day Metric Century Ride and party at America the Beautiful Park with music by Grammy-nominee Shawn Mullins.
The route will take cyclists from Colorado Springs to Palmer Lake where the group will meet the Cycling for Change national team that is biking across the country to raise awareness of poverty.
Registration for the local ride is $150 ($100 tax deductible) and includes: Custom Polar water bottle, aid stations, lunch in Monument, full SAG and mechanical support, plus a whopper of a party at America the Beautiful Park, including beer and rootbeer by Bristol Brewing Company, Keva Juice, and live music.
