Monarch Mountain's Greg Ralph ... aka "Mr. One Take" ... tells us about all of the ski area's improvements and plans for this season. Monarch's learn to ski program is going to rock. The guys in the background are working on the new 450-foot covered conveyor lift that will transport first-timers up the Snowflake bunny slope. Monarch has a beginner package that includes rental equipment, ski school and lift ticket for $99.
"This year we're trying to promote the fact that, at Monarch, you can learn to ski stress free," Ralph said.
And, Ralph promises to buy a beer for everyone who brings a beginning skier to Monarch!
For advanced skiers, Monarch has a new snowcat ready to explore the area's 1,200 acres of backcountry powder.
