Good look at the field in the first Oktoberfest 5K, Oct. 20 (2012) at Security Service Field in Colorado Springs. Lori Stich, 42, a three-time U.S. Olympic marathon trials qualifier, won with a time of 21:36.98. Anna Kharlamova, 24, was second in 22:05.06, followed by Janna Habeck, 35, in 23:39.99.
In the men's race, Paul Mann, 35, won in 17:15.82. William Dillon, 32, was second in 17:19.55, followed by Mike Killam, 30, in 18:07.40.
The race was part of the first Oktoberfest hosted by John and Carol O'Donnell, producers of the Grand Prix of Running.
