Scott Dahlberg broke away with about half mile to run and dashed to his third consecutive win in the 5K on St. Patrick's Day on Saturday (March 14, 1015) in Colorado Springs.
Dahlberg, 29, of Fort Collins, hit the finish line in 14 minutes, 44 seconds, with Hillary Bor and Nourdine Small placing second and third.
The women's race was a barn burner. Hillory Davis, 26, Colorado Springs, won with a time of 18:56, just a few strides ahead of Kierann Toth and Crystal Goecker.
