Andy Wacker defended his title of a year ago, winning for the consecutive time on Sunday in Bear Creek Park.
Wacker covered the 12K (approx.) course in 41 minutes, 2 seconds. Geofery Terer was second in 41:31, followed by Laban Sialo, 43:26.
In the women's race, Baylor University senior (and Cheyenne Mountain High School graduate, Sarah Guhl won with a time of 55 minutes, 33 seconds. Amanda Durner was second in 55:47. Cindy Finks placed third a few strides behind.
