Runners churned up the first steep pitch in the 2014 Canya Cañon on Sunday in Cheyenne Cañon. The race is a fundraiser for Friends of Cheyenne Cañon. Pete Maksimow took the won, covering the 3.6-mile trail run in 32:02. Shannon Meredith won the women's race in 38:49.
