Colorado Springs runners Adam Rich and Kim Baugh who won the third Oktoberfest 8K on Saturday at Security Service Field.
Rich charged to the overall win in 26 minutes, 8 seconds. Baugh finished in 34:17. About 350 participated in the fun run that is held in conjunction with the Oktoberfest event.
Rich averaged 5:06 per mile on a rolling course that gained 250 feet elevation.
"Man, that was tougher than it looked," he said as he crossed the finish line.
