Adam Rich and Rochelle Persson take the wins on Saturday (Sept. 23) in at Security Service Field in Colorado Springs. Rich knocked out the 8K (4.9 miles approx.) out-and-back course on Sand Creek Trail in 26:07.2, averaging 5:16 per mile. Persson clocked in at 34:20 (6:55 per mile.) The race is part of the Grand Prix of Running Series, which culminates with the Great Pumpkin Race on Oct. 7.
