This is the start of the National Mill Dog Rescue Ruff Life Freedom 5K Run/Walk, June 11 in Colorado Springs. The event is a fundraiser for Mill Dog Rescue, a nonprofit that works to save adult dogs from puppy mills and place the animals in a loving, permanent home.
