Men's long-course record falls in Winter Series I

Alex Libin, 27, of Colorado Springs, broke his own course record on Saturday at the Winter Series I race at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Libin covered the 7-mile foothills trails course in 43 minutes, 53 seconds, beating his old record - set last year - by 36 seconds.
Elizabeth Helland (40, Colorado Springs) won the women's race with an age-group record time of 51:16.
