Kim Dobson won the weather-shortened Pikes Peak Ascent on Saturday. It was her sixth win, though the race ended at Barr Camp (7.6 miles.) Race organizers waved off a summit finish on the 14,115-foot peak because of weather concerns above tree line later in the day. This is the first time in race history that the event finish line was moved to a lower elevation. Dobson ascended 3,900 feet to Barr Camp in 1 hour, 15 minutes.
