Kelly McRae talks about her win in the inaugural Half on the 4th Half Marathon
If you think the Santa Fe Trail is flat, aks Kelly McRae about it. She'll disagree. McRae won the inaugural Half on the 4th on Thursday in Colorado Springs, covering the 13.1 miles in 1 hour, 33 minutes. The trail does run alongside Monument Creek and loses elevation. McRae learned the hard way when she turned around on the out-and-back course and finished the last 6.55 miles running uphill. She talks about it in the video.
