Jessica Beechum became the first visually impaired runner to complete the Pikes Peak Marathon, and she did it with support from Achilles Pikes Peak, an organization that helps disabled athletes live active lives. The Cheyenne Mountain Trail Race 50/25/10K, set for April 29 at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, will serve as a fundraiser for this important local nonprofit organization.
