Chuck McKenzie won the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, covering the hilly course in 17 minutes, 30 seconds. But he was quick to point out that he was running for his mother, Connie, a two-time breast-cancer survivor.
"I've been out here the last four years since I graduated from college and I'll continue probably for the rest of my life," McKenzie said.
But there is a twist to the story. Connie McKenzie also ran and was the first of 592 survivors to finish!
