Brad Poppele wins XTERRA Marathon at Cheyenne Mountain State Park
Colorado Springs runner Brad Poppele said that the cold and wet weather made him want to stay in bed on Saturday. But that didn't happen. Poppele got up and won the XTERRA Marathon at Cheyenne Mountain State Park on Saturday. It was his first marathon win. Poppele covered the muddy, technical course in 3:45:05.

It must be cold every year ...Brad really suffered on the 2011 one...he almost didn't run...but then he won!!
