Boulder's Richard Medina crushes Mine to Mine 9K record
Richard Medina set a new record in the Mine 2 Mine 9K on Saturday in Victor, covering the rolling course in 26 minutes, 6 seconds. The old record of 29:17.76 was set in 2012, the race's inaugural year, by Matt Levassiur. In the women's race, Rochelle Persson also set a new overall record. Persson clocked 34:26.53, about 19 seconds better than Brandy Erholtz's winning time in 2012.
