Adam Rich just missed the course record at the four-mile July 4 Fun Run at Palmer Lake on Friday. Rich, 33, of Colorado Springs, finished in 20:02, just missing the record of 19:59. Rich has had a great spring and summer. He won the Garden of the Gods 5K, then followed with a victory at the Sailin' Shoes 10K.
