Chris Carmichael is on tap to be our key speaker and with the amazing success (and challenges for sure!) of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge Prologue I'm sure he'll have a few stories of how best to go about putting on a world-class event in Colorado Springs.
Additionally, we'll have panel discussions covering a range of topics from sponsorship development, recruiting volunteers (volunteers make the event!) and issues pertaining to proper permitting of events.
The event is free and will be a great time to meet others from the various groups here locally that put on cycling and running events. We live in a fantastic region that allows a year-long calendar of stellar outdoor recreational opportunities.
Pedal (and run!) On ~ Allen
