Hey, everybody! As outdoor enthusiasts, you all understand the importance of good shoes...whether minimalist or not, we need them to protect us and keep us warm. As you probably also know, there are lots of folks who can't afford shoes in the US and abroad.
My workplace is hosting a new shoe and old prosthetic drive on Saturday February 25th. We're collecting new shoes and lightly used prosthetic components to be donated to Limbs for Life and Shoes for Orphan Souls. These charities are really awesome about getting folks what they need to help them walk safely when they can't afford it on their own. Please consider donating!
Here's the event flyer for more details.
We'll take any new shoe of any style and/or new socks. All sizes are also welcome. They do not need to be expensive shoes, Walmart sell's shoes for $15 sometimes. That's not a bad investment to improve someone's year!
