From Andy Bohlmann, Sand Creek Sports - Sand Creek Sports, Inc. returns in 2015 for its 25th year of race promotion with the Ascent Cycling Series presented by Ascent Cycling and KMC. This family friendly mountain biking event has been a summer time staple for riders of all abilities and ages for 8 years and it continues to grow in popularity.

New this year, the Ascent Cycling Series is introducing a team competition featuring many of our Pike Peak Region teams and their sponsors. This includes the Front Rangers Junior Cycling Team sponsoring the very first junior specific races.

With every race at or near full capacity, The Ascent Cycling Series will once again feature 23 classes and categories and have Olympic, World Cup, National Champions, State Champions, first timers young Juniors and a large percentage of Woman racing. Many riders use the Series for training in their highly regimented programs and some try racing for the first time.
