Have you heard about this run?  It's a hardcore, amazing 5K or 10K run up to the Shrine and through the Zoo!
This run offers some of the most stunning mountain scenery this side of the Rockies.

A great opportunity for competitive racers, casual walkers, as well as families and children eager to show their enthusiasm for the Zoo, the Run to the Shrine offers the coveted opportunity to traverse Shrine
Road via foot while knowing that this is the one time of the year
when foot traffic is allowed.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2010, the 10K run and 5K jog/run/walk begin at 7:00 am and 7:05 am respectively. Team relay races begin at 8:30 am. Awards and activities for the entire family will follow in the
renowned Lodge

Registration includes FREE ADMISSION to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on May
22, 2010. Those not participating in the run must pay Zoo
admission to enter the Zoo on event day.
