About

Tim Bergsten created this Ning Network.

This comes from the Greenland Trail website

The Greenland Trail 50K is a trail race located on the front range of Colorado. It was started with the intent to kick off the trail running season by offering a variety of distances to suit your running needs.
Run in the Greenland Open Space of southern Douglas County, the
Greenland Trail 50K strives to be the premier 50K in Colorado.

Thanks to Douglas County Open Space, our permit for 2011 has allowed us to offer more entry slots. This year, the race is limited to the first 750 runners! It has filled the last three years, so please
register early. There will be no wait list.

New in 2010
Each race will have their own start time. The 50K will start at 8:00 AM, the 25K will start at 8:15 AM and the 8M will start at 8:30 AM. This
should allow us to accommodate more runners.

Please Carpool:
We encourage carpooling. We are directing runners to the website RideShare.us to find other runners to carpool with. If more people carpool, then we
can allow more runners into the race! Please follow the directions of
the professional parking management crew when you arrive at the race.

Looking for volunteers:
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us put on the Winter Distance Series. All volunteers will get a free entry into
another event produced by Colorado Runner Events. Please email us if you are interested?
