PikesPeakSports.us expands searchable running results program "Finish Line Index"

Whether you are an elite runner, an age-group terror, mid-packer or back-of-the-pack daydreamer, it's fun to look at your race results, to see them all in one place. And it's a kick to check out the results of your friends, rivals and relatives.

So PikesPeakSports.us webmaster
Brian McCarrie  (forever wired) >>>>>
whipped together our new running results tool, "Finish Line Index." It is very easy to use, but we thought we'd make an attempt at a quick tutorial. So here goes.

Step 1.

Find and click on the "Finish Line Index" link on the PikesPeakSports.us home page. Go to Finish Line Index now.

Step 2. >>>>

The link will take you to our "Finish Line Index" page.

Step 3.
Look for this place to enter your name. Here's a tip: If you spelled your name differently for any race, i.e ... Jon vs. John vs. Jonathan, all of your results may not be displayed.

Step 4. >>>>

Your list of results will carry all that we've managed to collect, going back to 2002. We don't have every local race, but we have most of them. Remember to enter your name as it appeared on your race entry.

Step 5.

When you find your list of results, you can click an individual race - the Rescue Run 5K, for instance - and see the overall results from that race.

You can also click on your age group to see your age group results from a certain race.

Step 6. >>>>

While looking at the overall results of a race, you can click on any runner's name to see a list of their results. For instance, in this example, if you click on race winner Michael Claflin's name, you get a list of his results. You can also click on age group to see how any runner finished in their age group.
