Boulder Running Company/adidas runners Mario Macias and Tera Moody captured 5K victories at the Sailin Shoes Run for Fun on Saturday. Adam Rich, who also runs for the Boulder Running Company, was the men's 10K winner. And Hannah Green, 19-year-old Colorado Springs resident, who says she runs only for the fun of it, won the women's 10K Race. A mix-up on the course caused nearly all of the elite runners in the 5K field to run a longer distance. The problem was quickly corrected and the majority of the runners ran the correct distance. "We've been running this race for 32 years and haven't had a problem. that's what makes it frustrating," said race director Maile Gray. Story and photos to follow later today.
