Runners who prefer courses that are fast and flat will love Saturday's Classic 10K, the fourth leg of the Grand Prix of Running.
The point-to-point race begins at 7 a.m. at Tiffany Square, 6805 Corporate Drive and ends in Monument Valley Park.

The race is billed as one of the fastest in Colorado and many runners have set their personal-best 10K time there. The course runs adjacent to Monument Creek and tilts slightly downhill.
Robert Cheseret, who runs as a member of the Army's World Class Athlete Program, won the men's race last year in 29 minutes 42 seconds, while Fiona Docherty of Boulder set a new women's course record, winning in 33:33
