The Colorado Runner Racing Series, a 15-race contest, mostly in and 
around the Boulder/ Denver area, concluded Sunday 9/11 with 
local success.
Rochelle Persson, Colorado Springs, bested last year's winner, Stella Heffron
of Parker, to win the Women's Masters title.
John Victoria and Georgeann Richardson, both from Colorado Springs,
placed 3rd and 2nd, respectively, in the Men's and Women's 55-59 divisions.
Japeth Ng'ojoy, Greeley, won the Men's open division with Charles Hillig,
Denver, 2nd, and the Women's open division was won by Kim Dobson of 
Arvada ahead of Wendy Thomas, Windsor, and 3rd place went to Christie
Foster, Colorado Springs. 
 

The series consisted of races between 4K and 1/2 marathon distances, 
with the majority being shorter races. Points were awarded from 100 down to
10 for the first ten finishers in each division, for each race.
