Winning the Cherry Creek Sneak 5K on Sunday wasn't enough for Boulder Running Company/adidas runner Robby Young.

He had to have five miles more.

Young, 25, of Colorado Springs, blew through the 5K in 15 minutes, 45 seconds, placing first in a field of 3,703. He then jumped into the five mile race and placed third with a time of 26:16.

Jay Luna, 27, of Denver, a BRC team member and former high school runner from Colorado Springs, was fourth in the five miler (26:21). Colorado Springs runner Pat McGuire, 28, was a step behind in fifth place.

The Boulder Running Company's women runners had a good day as well. Amanda Occhi  (33) and Adrian Chouinard (28), both of Manitou Springs, placed fourth and sixth respectively in a field of 2,100 women in the five-mile race. Occhi clocked 30:31 with Chouinard striding in at 30:50.

Amanda Ewing, A Colorado Running Company runner from Colorado Springs, placed seventh in 30:52.
