The Colorado Running Company and Boulder Running Company, two of the area's specialty running stores, had reason's to celebrate on Saturday.
John O'Neill and crew at the Colorado Running Company held their grand opening at CRC's new (second) store at 9275 N Union, Ste 120.
"This is a good space, in a good area and the price was right for us," O'Neill said.
The new Colorado Running Company is near the corner of Union Blvd. and Briargate Parkway, across the street from the Venezia open space area and about four miles of singletrack trail.
Cody Hill's staff at the Boulder Running Company, 3659 Austin Bluffs Pkwy Ste. 32, celebrated the store's 10-year anniversary. A steady stream of customers stopped by to take advantage of special deals.
PikesPeakSports.us featured both stores earlier this year. CRC celebrated 10 years in June.
