Registration is now open and will be online only and will close July 7th. Number pick up will be July 8 at Carmichael Training Systems.
This race will also be the final USA Cycling Pro XCT race, the final 2010 National Championship Cross Country Qualification race, an Alison Dunlap Junior Mountain Bike Series race and the final race in GT Bicycle’s Proving Ground Series! The National Championships are July 15-18 in Granby, CO. The Pro XCT series Men and Women winners get an automatic 2010 World Championship spot which will be announced at our race! This race is also a USA Cycling National Mountain Bike Calendar event.
“The Pro XCT not only creates opportunity and increases exposure for our athletes here at home but it also helps ensure the U.S. the maximum opportunity for success on the sport’s highest stage,” explained USA Cycling National Mountain Bike and Cyclo-cross Development Director Marc Gullickson. “The UCI points these events offer directly dictate the number of start spots the U.S. will receive in mountain biking events at the 2012 Olympic Games in London as well as improve start order at the Mountain Bike World Championships annually.”
There will be a stage race for Category 1, 2, 3 and single-speed riders as well over the three days.
The venue is Cheyenne Mountain State Park just south of Colorado Springs. Same basic S/F line for all races. The S/F is in the middle of the Expo/Team Parking area on pavement.
