While everyone else is stuffing themselves this holiday season, come out and get dirty with Pikes Peak Velo Racing.

The Pikes Peak Supercross is scheduled for Nov. 19 at Rock Ledge Ranch. This is the first time there has ever been a bike race on this property so come be a part of history! The course is awesome with lots of double track, single track through Garden of the Gods Park, and super-fun (and hard) run-ups.

Thee will be cyclocross categories for all skill levels, beginner to professional, plus a free kids race on a special course! There will be a "Citizens Category" specifically reserved for anyone brand new to the sport of cyclocross. If you have a knobby tire bike but have never raced cyclocross... this is your chance!

We'll have a barbecue lunch and pizza dinner for anyone who makes a donation (any amount) to Kids on Bikes.

Free Cyclocross Clinics

If you want to get some practice in, please feel free to ride with us on Wednesday evenings: Nov. 2, 9 and 16 from 5:30 until dark at Rock Ledge Ranch.

Learn the key cyclocross techniques, negotiating the barriers, getting on/off bike, carrying the bike, running up hills and of course...running out of breath!

You will also get a preview of the course. Please do not ride on the course otherwise. As the area will be open to the rest of the public during the clinics we will have to be very careful and cautious of others on the trails and watch our speed. First timers and mountain bikes are absolutely welcome.

We will meet in the large gravel parking lot on the east side of Rock Ledge. The gate will most likely be closed so you will need to park at the Garden Visitor Center or on Chambers Way on the south side of Rock Ledge.
