Colorado Springs' Cameron Chambers, Kalan Beisel claim 24 Hours of Moab championships

A pair of Colorado Springs riders added some impressive slick-rock credentials to their resumes and Stars and Stripes jerseys to their wardrobes on Sunday at the 24 Hours of Moab mountain bike race.
Carmichael Training Systems rider Cameron Chambers won the men's solo singlespeed division, while  Kalan Beisel competed as part of the winning Men's 4-Person Championship team.
Chambers completed 16 laps and 238.56 miles.
Beisel, along with teammates Len Zanni (Carbondale), Ross Schnell (Grand Junction) and Jay Henry (Avon) won the Men's 4-Person Championship at the 24 Hours of Moab.
The foursome, which rode as the Honey Stinger/Trek team,  covered 328.2 miles (22 laps) and climbed a total of 29,920 feet. The New Mexico All Stars Team finished second.
Rider Colin Cares of Colorado Springs finished third as part of the the Hammer Nutrition Team.
