Colorado Springs' Cameron Chambers added another major singlespeed title to his resume on Saturday. Chambers won the USA Cycling National Single Speed Championship at Sun Valley in Ketchum, Idaho.
Chambers told PikesPeakSports.us in June that he wanted to win the singlespeed championship after finishing second by nine seconds to mountain bike racing legend Ned Overend in 2010.
Chambers, who rides for the PikesPeakSports.us Sand Creek Cycling Team in area races, is a multi-time 24-Hour singlespeed national champion, having won solo and team titles. He said he will race solo in the 24-Hour National Championship in Colorado Springs in late September.
