From Jim Schwerin, Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates
Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates is holding a summer kickoff following the Memorial Day weekend. This evening, Tuesday, May 31, at 5:30 PM, we will be holding a volunteer trail maintenance day at Stephanie's trail in Bear Creek canyon.
We'll be making the trail a little wider in some spots, fixing a few turns, leveling the tread, trimming some shrubbery, and generally sprucing the trail up. We plan to work until about dark. Everyone is welcome, MWTA will provide the tools, and no experience is needed. (but please, no kids or dogs)
This will be a fun warm-up for our next project, which is a re-route of the Spring Creek trail in Cheyenne Canon. Stay tuned for more details on that fun new trail.
Please RSVP to jim@medwheel.org if you plan to attend. Again, we'll be meeting at 5:30 PM. Click for a Google map
