I would like to share the .pdf document of the Shared Lane Marking (Sharrows) presentation that was given to City Council on Monday.

This presentation was put together by the city engineering staff and is a very good "SLM/Sharrows primer" and contains the history of the marking, the process that has been used to this point working with the CDOT Share the Road Task Force and the Bicycle Advisory Committee and a glimpse into other aspects of the cities bicycle transportation infrastructure and planning process.

This presentation should help educate not only cyclists but also other roadway users as to what a Shared Lane Marking is and how it will not change the roadway configuration, laws pertaining to sharing of the road or anything else...the SLM will just create a safer environment for all roadway users.
