Event Description

Santa Fe Trailhead at Baptist Road in Monument. 5M or 10M. Interstate 25 to Exit 158 (Baptist Road). West at stop light for .3M. Staging area is the main parking lot at the trailhead. the course is similar to Race #2, but is much more exposed. It can be very cold due to the winds. There are three aid stations on the Long Course and one on the Short Course.

Ran from Baptist road on Monday and new snow was about 6" deep before snow of last night.  Main issue was piles of snow in Monument that you needed to negotiate to get through town.  Could be interesting and could even turn to slush by Sat.!!
