If you plan to enter the Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon or Triple Crown, have your fingers ready type fast. The Ascent and Marathon have been known to fill quickly. There is a cap of 1,800 runners in the Ascent and 800 for the Marathon.

It's a really good idea to check out the Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon website for detailed info about entering these races. Spending a little time doing your homework will pay off.

Entry fees range from $95 for the marathon, $105 for the Ascent to $155 for the entire Triple Crown, including the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run, the Summer Roundup Trail Run and either the Ascent or Marathon.
