Event Description
Kick-off January 1st with Salida Recreation's annual New Year's Day 5k Walk/Run. This is a beginner friendly event, so if you've never participated in an organized walk/run event before, this is the perfect place to start! Race begins at 10am; registration begins at 9am at the Salida Scout Hut in Riverside Park. Cost is $10 and includes drinks and snacks before and after the event at the Scout Hut.
