Colorado Springs Cruisers is a laid back, fun bicycle ride every Tuesday night through Colorado Springs starting at McCabes and "cruising" the town. Very low key. Don't have to be a "cyclist" to enjoy this event. Any bike will do. No racing allowed. Bikes with gears may only be shifted 4 times....offenders must buy the one who catches them a beer.

Mission:
To have fun. To realize you don't need lycra and fancy bikes to have a good time on a bike. (But hey, come that way if you want)

Rules:
-Beach cruisers, Townies, 3 speeds preferred
-Geared bike riders may only shift 3 times.
-No Lycra
-No Racing
-No Religion
-No Poltics
-Must Smile. No smiley face you no ride.
-Have fun.
-Help others have fun.
-Buy the slow guy a beer

Easy route:
1) McCabes to Cascade
2) Cascade to Pikes Peak
3) Pikes Peak to Tejon
4)Wave at all the poor souls running. Be sure to smile
5) Cruise back down to McCabes.
6) Order some grub and suds.

This is a pretty free form group. Many show up and go for a ride as soon as there are 5-9 others. Some just ride down and enjoy the crowd. Some ride off to God knows where and come back an hour later. This is about fun more than anything.
