The Colorado College Cycling Team will host the Colorado Springs Classic Criterium on Sunday, April 1. Back after a one-year hiatus, the event begins at 8 a.m. with racing for all catagories slated throughout the day.

Riders will blast through a circuit on the streets near Colorado College. The course is fast and challenging with a downhill section and a short, but tough climb.

This will be one of several stops on the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference schedule. Cyclists from 14 college teams in Colorado and Wyoming are expected to compete.

The event is also open to non-college cyclists. Entry fees run from $20 to $35.
